I was hired in 2015 and started teaching students in the spring of 2016. How long have you been using low-cost and/or no-cost textbooks? I have been using no-cost textbooks for the past three years, specifically open educational resources (OER). What is your favorite part of using low-cost and/or no-cost textbooks? My favorite part of using low or no-cost textbooks is the access students have to current concepts and best practices in client care. Any estimated student cost savings from using low-cost and/or no-cost textbooks? Students save between $89 and $135, depending on the textbook.
